Here are some original photographs I have taken for my contents page and double page spread. I love these pictures because they show a fun, crazy side to my model which is exactly what I want to portray in my magazine. As my magazine is aimed at young, fun women, I need my images to represent this. In the pictures, as you can see, my model is wearing a dark black dress with mesh inserts. I chose this specifically for the photo shoot as I wanted my model look edgy, daring and sexy. I have also added sparkly pink and silver glitter to her hair to show a more wild/party side to her personality and I have stuck purple glitter to her lips. This image represents a woman who doesn't care about what people think of her, somebody that is very outrageous and outgoing, and more importantly, somebody who breaks normal conventions in society. My magazine is aimed at women who are independent, carefree and enjoying their youth. My front cover image is the complete opposite to what I am putting in the contents page.

My magazine is aimed at women who are independent, carefree and enjoying their youth. My front cover image is the complete opposite to what I am putting in the contents page. I have done this because I want there to be a contrast in personalities.

As my interview will reveal, 'Jade-Lou' has a very different side to her that will be intriguing for the target audience I am trying to reach. Whilst still keeping with the feminine and girly theme, I am putting a little Indie Rock twist on my magazine.

In these photos, I have shots of her laughing and blowing glitter at the camera because I want to show a fun loving side to my musician. My target audience are the type of women who enjoy parties, festivals, concerts and therefore it wouldn't be appropriate to include boring pictures that represent a less exciting lifestyle.

As well as images of my musician, I have some photographs of Jamie T and Ben Howard live in concert that I took whilst at the UEA in November and December. These tie in perfectly with the genre of my magazine because they are both indie musicians. Not only this but in my research questionnaire when I asked who peoples favourite artists were, Ben Howard came up a lot. This means that for my target audience, it is completely relevant to include an artist like this in my magazine and it will attract a lot of attention, therefore giving my magazine a selling point.

I have also included a photograph that I gave to my friend to take whilst my friends and I were in a crowd at Latitude Festival in July 2014. I have used this because as stated before, the social groups I am representing enjoy spending time at gigs and festivals, and therefore this is completely relevant. It’s a fun photo of all of us and as you can see we are all smiling – this represents the fun natured part of the personalities I am trying to portray.

There are also some other images I took whilst at Latitude that I am considering using in my work.
