Sightseeing Tours

Munich offers a variety of tours for tourists—bus, walk, bike and even customized tours

Double-decker buses allow hop on and hop off and cover the city in just one hour

Some of these tours take tourists on day-trips to famous places and lesser known points of interest

If you want a real feel of Munich with unique experiences and sights remember to hire a local guide

Bus Tours

A variety of bus tours covering Munich, Bavaria and even neighbouring Austria is also available

Walking Tours

A walk through Munich is the only true way to get to know it

The Altstadt (Old Town) is the traditional walking tour for most visitors

If you have more time, you can enjoy visiting some of the lesser known, but equally interesting sights near the city center

Situated next door to the BMW Welt is BMW’s home plant where tourists can enjoy a guided tour

Allianz Arena

The Allianz Arena is a football stadium with a capacity of over 75,000

It is also the home stadium of the famous football club FC Bayern

It is the world’s first stadium with a full colour-changing exterior (whenever FC Bayern has a match it is red)

The stadium was one of the venues for the 2006 FIFA World Cup

The tour through the Arena allows you to experience the atmosphere from the point of view of a professional footballer in the players' area
