Vision - Revision
I‘m better than they are I’ll try to give my best
I don’t like it here, so hot… It’s not ideal, but it will do
Some people annoy me I should relate well
Procedures are inferior Common good is priority
I’ll create my comfort group
Entire group is my family
I’m shy, I won’t join them Am not perfect, I’ll try
Her speech is so faulty Surely she’s trying her best
He’s so incompetent I’ll ask if he needs help
I’ll let her do the job We’ll do it together
What a bunch of morons We’re all equal here
One-Liners to Live By1. Life is not hard for those who persevere and know
how to wait for the perfect time for happiness.
2. Life is traveled only once; today’s moment becomes tomorrow’s memory.
3. A person who has a happy spirit doesn’t easily get tired and is always disposed to do good.
4. We’ll never find anybody who achieves great success without sacrifice.
5. Nothing comes free, from time to time, we may have to give something up if we need something better.
6. A big jar of water gets emptied by just a small hole.
8.God gives the very best to those who leave the
choices up to Him.
9. If people can’t accept us at our worst, then they don’t deserve us at our best.
10. No one can go back and make a new beginning
but anyone can start from now and make a happy ending.
11. There is no better exercise than bending down and lifting people up.
12. When challenges are so big that we feel our strength is not enough to carry them, let us keep on going.
The extra mile is where the grace of God begins.
13. With God, we can take the choice & be content, take the tensions & be calm, take the hurts & be brave, take the obstacles & have faith.
14. Life is not about how bravely we struggle & fight. Often, it can be about how willingly we surrender.
15. For every dream in our heart, God gives us inspiration; for every hope we seek, God gives us unexpected miracles; for every faith we believe, God blesses us more.
16. One day, God told me to push a rock with all my might. Many years passed & nothing happened. Getting discouraged I asked why I was failing & He said He never told me to move it, He would move it Himself.
17. Part of growing is learning to take responsibilities. Life is isn’t just about fun. As we become wiser, we
l loosen our grip on being perfect in every way. We learn that it’s more important to be human & happy than perfect but sad.
18. We are told that one lie is enough to break a trust; one word is enough to break a heart; one second is enough to lose a battle; one smile is enough to forgive; one mistake is enough to lose a job. But whatever our pain, whatever is our struggle, one God is more than enough.
Thank You!
Enrichment Session 2
Commitment
An engineer who was going to retire gets a final assignment: to build a house as if it were his own.
Tired and worn out, the retiree decided to cut corners… in short: quality was not his priority anymore, he was making his exit anyway.
When completed, he was commended for his job and to his surprise… his boss gave him a bunch of keys…
The house was his retirement gift…
