MyTundra Report
By: Anna E.
The two types of tundra’s are the Arctic Tundra and the Alpine Tundra which are pretty different.
Arctic Tundra is a mostly cold area located near the North Pole.
Places the Arctic Tundra covers are Norway, Finland, Greenland, Iceland, and Denmark.
Alpine Tundra is located high up in the mountains where it is cold and few mammals live there and no tall plants and no permafrost either is well drained soil.
Permafrost is permanent soil but, not very good soil you can find it in the Alpine Tundra.
Some animals that live in the Arctic Tundra are caribou, wolves, musk ox, arctic hares, arctic fox, and polar bears.
