What is the Center for Civic Engagement (CCE)?
• The Center for Civic Engagement (CCE) at the University of Texas at El Paso connects faculty and their courses to engage students in community-based teaching and learning in an effort to deepen education, promote civic engagement, and actively improve the El Paso area.
• It was established in 1998.
Work at CCE:
• Two online newsletters for CCE
• The SHINE Health Initiative training
