Planning is the ability to visualize into the future.

Described lesson plan as a “scheme of work” or “a map” which indicates to the teacher the work that has to be covered.

Phases of

planningThe teacher of English is a language model, a language resource and a good role model.

Displayed at least three major phases in the planning and development of a lesson

Presentation: This phase occurs a meeting with his tongue, knowledge clarification and motivates students to new learning.

Practice: in this phase is evoked the memory of new knowledge, in order to achieve the internalization of these.

The use or production: this phase is the most important because it gives students the opportunity to use language to achieve communicative fluency.

A fourth phase, called consolidation may occur in some of the lessons. At this time, students can demonstrate, at the end of the unit, they are able.
