Are You Listening? Form groups of 2-4, depending on the total

number of participants, and give each group a Lego kit.

Have each group appoint a leader, and give the instruction sheet only to him or her.

The leader then must relay the instructions to the team, without showing the instruction sheet. Only the leader can see the instruction sheet.

Business, Business, Business! Form three groups where the 1st group will be the

construction workers, the 2nd group will be the micro-managers, and the 3rd group will represent President Business.

The construction workers will be given all the Lego bricks and must create a model. However, they need to wait for the micro-managers instructions.

The micro-managers also need to wait for instructions from President Business.

The group representing President Business will be given the picture and instructions of the model to be created. They will be “paid” $1,000 if they finish in 45 minutes. They must also consider the cost of the materials and labor (included in the sheet). For every minute after the deadline, they will be deducted $50.
