The font is very bright as pink is used. Pink could stand for romance and passion, which highlights that this is going to be the theme of the movie.

All these girls are wearing some sort of pink which highlights their girly.

We see that Lindsey Lohan looking strong by herself, while the other three ‘mean girls’ are standing very close to each other where one of them is standing in front which could suggest that she is the ‘Leader’. in a confident pose behind. You can also see that they are standing in a over confident pose showing their attitude and ‘bitchy manner.’

In the lower half of the poster the only picture we can see are all four legs of the girls. All of the "Mean Girls" wear very short skirts with high heels, so we can easily see their bare legs. This symbolises their glamorous, sexy natures. On the other hand Lindsey is dressed in jeans and flat pumps which shows that she is not the same as the ‘Mean Girls’. However she does change after she became a member of the ‘Mean Girls’.

This tag line is very relevant to the storyline as it symbolises the bitchy, fake friendships between the girls.

The ProposalOnly the colour black, white and red are used on this poster. Both of the characters are wearing black colour clothes opposing with the white background. The characters look high powered and smart which makes them stand out amongst the white background. It also makes the film appear more professional.

The ‘PROPSOSAL’ is written in red, which connotes the desire and dedication of marriage, which indicates the romance between the two characters in the film.

We can see that the male character is pushed to the wall while the female character is leaning before him. This could show that the female character has the power throughout the film, and the male character is not in control o the situation. Also his facial expression looks tensed and worried while the women grins.

P.S. I Love You

Red is the colour of the title and this connotes love, passion and sexuality.

The credits are written in black. This could symbolise power, formality, death and mystery.

A plain white background is used to make the models and the writing stand out and emphasises the importance of the people on the image and how important they are to the storyline.

“Sometime there's only one thing to say” this highlights the main features and narrative of the film. It also relates back to the title, and is also a reference to the letters which are being sent.

The poster is set out like a stereotypical film poster, which includes a main image of the characters, the title, a tag line and the credits. The image of the characters takes up most of the poster this could connate the importance of them and their actions during the film.
