•A type of essay which vividly describes a person, place, memory, experience or an onbject.

A . Lead- grab the readers’ attention. It sets a mood.

2. Suspense Lead – an open ended beginning

4. Figurative Lead – an opening figure of speech

5. Direct statements“Pound for pound king. Greatest Filipino boxer, etc…”
6. Surprise Lead – an eye opening beginning
