Insert the SmartArt graphic picture layout.

Add your photograph(s).

Write descriptive text.

Merging and Comparing Presentations

This is helpful if you work with others on presentations and use e-mail or network shares to communicate changes with others.

You can manage and choose which changes or edits you would like to make for the final presentation. The Merge and Compare feature minimizes the time you spend synchronizing edits from multiple versions of the same presentation

Link to a video from a web site

Like YouTube or hulu, and more. Each web site usually provides an embed code that allows you to link to the video from your presentation.

Locate and copy the embed code, and then paste it into PowerPoint

Remove unwanted background

Click the picture that you want to remove the background from.

Under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the Adjust group, click Background Removal. If you do not see Background Removal or the Picture Tools tab, make sure that you have selected a picture. You may have to double-click the picture to select it and open the Format tab. 5.Click Keep Changes in the Close group.

Note To cancel the automatic background removal click, Discard All Changes in the Close group.

Appling artistic textures and effects to your pictures 1.Click the picture that you want to apply an artistic

effect to.

2.Under Picture Tools, on the Format tab, in the Adjust group, click Artistic Effects.

3.Click the artistic effect that you want.

4.To fine tune the artistic effect, click Artistic Effects Options.

You can move your mouse pointer over any of the effects, and use Live Preview to see what your picture will look like with that effect applied before you click the one that you want.

Turn your mouse into a laser Pointer

When you want to emphasize a point on a slide, you can turn your mouse pointer into a laser pointer.

In Slide Show view, simply hold down CTRL, click the left mouse button, and begin pointing.
