Stereotype:

Man normally like to wear watch compare to woman. Some of the man like to collect

branded watch as their hobby. So, this branded watch company ‘ SEIKO ‘find a Chinese man

singer from Taiwan WANG LEEHOM, who is very famous, good in singing and good

looking to endorsement their product. In this advertisement he is wearing casual formal

brown colour shirt, inside with a grey t-shirt and a black trousers. It look simple and clean but

smart. His skin tone match perfectly with the silver watch. His body posture and sharp eye is

so attractive and cool. Since he is a man, he must be like wearing and collecting watch too

sothe company will choose man as their advertisement prolocutor.

Prejudice:

We will always think that man like watch so, all man like watch. On the other hand, woman

like to wear bracelet and ring so, all woman don’t really like watch that much. The company

find a man to advertise their product so that can attract man vision and buy their product and

try to avoid find woman to advertise their product.

Persuasion:

The company is trying to attract customer to buy their branded SEIKO watch by creating an

advertisement on the newspaper and others method. The company is using credible

communicator like the celebrity WANG LEEHOM to advertise their product. He is well-

known superstar, people who admire him may buy the product when they see he is

endorsement of the brand SEIKO. His persuasion is strong enough to let consumers buy the

watch, he can persuade the buyers by the advertisement to buy the SEIKO branded watch.

The company also use attractive communicators for their advertisement. The good looking

and handsome man WANG LEEHOM, which is many people’ admirer. His attractive looking

attract the man customer to buy the same brand and style of watch that he is wearing in the

advertisement because other man want to be like him look handsome and smart. The

advertisement show the message with emotional content to persuade customer buying their

SEIKO watch. The sentence devote oneself to pursuit perfection and the another sentence

beyond their own, achieve a better future. These message is send to customer, is perfect by

wearing their watch.Below the picture, it show some information to let people know which

place and shop they can buy it from. A website to people to get more information.
