• 2^(4x) – 2^(2x) = 12

• Let us assume 2^(2x) = Y

• Y^2 – Y = 12

• Y^2 – Y – 12 = 0

• Y^2 -4Y +3Y – 12 = 0

• Y(Y – 4) +3(Y – 4)

• Y = 2^(2x)=4 Thus X = 1 answer.

• 2*^X = ¼

• 2^(-2) = ¼ thus X = -2 answer.

• Sqrt = Square Root

• Let us square both the sides

• 5+ X^1/3 = 9

• X^1/3 = 4

• Let us make cubes of both the sides

• (X^1/3 )^3= 4^3

• X = 64 answer .

• We know that 7^4 gives (2401) a unit digit of 1. Thus 7^32 gives unit digit of 1. 7^3 gives unit digit of 3.

• 3^4 gives (81) unit digit of 1, thus 3^20 gives unit digit of 1. 3^1 = 3. thus 3^21 gives unit digit of 3.

• 11^55 gives unit digit of 1.

• Thus 3*3*1 gives unit digit of 9 answer.

3^ (1/3*5/5) and 5^(1/5*3/3) • 3^(5/15) and 5^(3/15) ; let us solve

numerator.

• 3^5 (1/15) = 243 ^1/15• 5^3(1/15) = 125 ^1/15• Thus first number is bigger• 3^1/3 v/s 2^1/2• Take LCM of 3 & 2 it is 6• 3^ (1/3 *2/2) and 2^ (1/2*3/3) Thus we have 9^1/6 and

8^1/6. Again the first is bigger• 3^1/3 V/S 7^1/7; LCM of 7 & 3 = 21• 3^ (1/3*7/7) and 7^(1/7*3/3) • Thus we have 2187^1/21 and 343^1/21. Thus again

3^1/3 is bigger. Answer.
