President and Vice-Chancellor of QUB Prof Sir Peter Gregson: we have surpassed the
founding ambition of the Science Bridge project. Together we have created the research
environment for China to develop its energy and infrastructure in a sustainable manner
that has allowed the economy to flourish. In turn we in the UK have been able to
establish lasting academic partnerships and business opportunities founded in the
sharing of technological innovation, knowledge and expertise.
Dr. Alicia Greated, Director of Research Councils UK (RCUK) China: The Science
Bridge forum 'was excellent, extremely well organised and the turnout was great. '
Prof. JiJun Xing, Deputy Director of General of CSTEC from Ministry of Science and
Technology of China: Science Bridge projects „have made many remarkable
achievements, 'the forum has covered broad spectrum of elements, showing the fruitful
collaborative outcomes, and further demonstrating that the Science Bridge is the
highlight of the UK-China Science and Technology collaborations in recent years. It all
relies on the hard work of all science bridge partners
Prof. Zhaotian Zhang, Deputy Director of Department of Information Sciences from
National Natural Science Foundation of China: During the last three years, by the
scientific research workers joint efforts, “Science Bridge” has established several joint
