Introduction

I love knowledge and enjoy learning. I am a biologist and I have aMaster's degree in molecular biology and bioinformatics.

At present, I am working as an associate researcher for aBiotechnology Institute. With my background, you may probablywonder what biology has to do with gold recovery since in the firstplace; this material is all about how to recover gold.

Well, it's pretty simple. Here's how it happened.

Three years ago I wrote a research project about looking for strategieson bio-refining gold using bacteria. As I explored the gold market Ifound that the principal consumers for this precious metal were ITcompanies.

Reading about catalysis I found that computer devices and also somecar parts need precious metals such as gold to speed up itsphysicochemical capabilities.

Yes, that is right; computer devices, car parts and other electronicdevices contain small amounts of gold, silver and palladium.

After discovering this extensive use of gold and other metals in themarket, I then decided to put my bio-refining techniques into thismanual. I want to share with you several protocols I use for goldrecovery using chemical reactions, which I believe, can be of great useand help for you as well. All the steps in each protocol involve the useof different types of scrap and were safely tested in the laboratory.

The protocols I have explained here are simple to understand andsimple to master. You can follow all of these protocols right in thecomfort of your own home. So, sit back, relax and let me show you howyou can refine gold from scrap metal.

Enjoy,

Gold refining protocol I a sample

1. Use a hammer to break the scrap and clean it using water. It is muchbetter if you work with little pieces.

2. Place the scraps in a beaker or a plastic container and add nitricsolution (A). Wait for the scraps of gold and pins to fall down at thebottom of the beaker.

Because this takes a day or two, you can speed it up by heating thesolution even on a coffee pot and after 15-20 minutes repeat theprocess until the solution becomes clear; wash the scrap with cleanwater. Here, we are cleaning the scrap from those metals that reactwith nitric acid (copper for example). Remember neutralize the usedsolution before discharge. (Solution A: nitric acid: water 1:1 v/v)

3. Prepare the aqua regia solution (1 volume of nitric acid per 3volumes of hydrochloride acid). It can be prepared in the same beakerthat already contains the cleaned scrap. Put HCL into the beaker untilit covers all the scraps. Slowly add nitric acid until the requiredvolume is completely poured and wait for around 40 minutes. Themore gold you have the more brown-yellow the solution becomes!

4. Add three water volumes to the solution to neutralize the acid (veryimportant). After the acid has been neutralized, filtrate it using a densecloth. The cloth should be dense enough so that all the organic dirt isfiltered. Recover the solution in a clean new beaker.

5. Add zinc powder until the solution gives a black-grey color andappears like a dark dust. Wait for 15 minutes to let the dust fall down.Recover the deposition (gold and zinc) and do step one of this protocolagain.

6. Wash the dust several times using water. Boil the solution. Slowlyadd sulfuric acid with precaution as it reacts violently with water.Discharge the solution and repeat the washing cycle again.

Finally, recover the final product that should be black red-dust incolor. This is now your gold.

I have to mention that this is a free protocol I want to share with youas a thankful for visit my site although there are better approaches toobtain a cleaner gold to sell it online. I strong recommend obtainingmy report NOW.
