Making a Short Film and Film Review

Page 2: Short film task

The pointWhen completing your Year 13 coursework you

will have to use more than one medium so you need to be comfortable working in moving image and print.

This unit of work is designed to improve your film making skills.

You are going to produce a short film from a choice of briefs and record the process on your blog.

Remember, the quality of the films you make depends on you, not the briefs or the equipment.

storyboard) and, if appropriate, a written script per group. These should appear on your blog.

The print briefYou are to create a page (or double page

spread if you feel adventurous!) for an appropriate magazine to review the film you have created.

You must include a minimum of two original images per person to the review.

The style and content of the review are entirely up to you, but you need to show an understanding of the conventions of a film review and the design and layout of a magazine page.
