Health is not only about not having a sickness, injury or illness. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being. To be healthy, you must feel good all round.

Physical Benefits:Increased life expectancy;It makes your heart & lungs work more,so you don’t get tired as easily;Prevents heart disease, high blood pressure, back pain, asthma and cancers.Increased skills: Agility, balance, co-ordination, power, reaction time, speed, strength, endurance, flexibility and body composition are all improved.

Psychological (mental) Benefits:

• A wider knowledge of sport related activities• It helps you forget your problems. When you

think about them later, they won’t seem so bad

• Gives you something to do, so you are not just eating and laying around
