When seeking support, I would try contacting fellow students through email and see if they would like to meet up in a group somewhere in

the campus such as the library. While meeting and discussing, we would try to study first than do a discussion about what we learned. We

would also point somethings that aren't noticeable that could important to understand.

I dont seek out support. If im unable to identify a problem i will seek out the professor to clarify.

When I need assistance with some of my school work from my fellow classmates, I generally just send out an email and I receive helpful

Quite honestly, I've never felt as though I was actually collaborating with my fellow students. Although this course is offered online, this

college does not invest much effort in making the experience collaborative.

I generally in this level of course do not look to my classmates.

In past online courses, I have mostly asked questions of the professor before consulting with other students. I have worked with other

students before, and find this useful as well.

I have offered to proofread (no one took me up on it), pointed out to the instructor that an online resource was not made available for most

Its harder to collaborate with other online students, many of them don't even live in the state and are currently attending colleges else

where that didn't provide the class online. However, students are aware of this when they decide to take an online class and its not

necessarily a bad thing that you don't know who your classmates are, it almost makes it easier to have open and honest class

discussions.

When I have had a rough time understanding concepts, I sought assistance from a peer.

When working in a group, no matter what type of topic or questions are assigned, we would try to split things up into sections and each be

assigned. For example: one of the online courses required online homework submissions and when working with fellow classmates, we

would complete the homework with the help from chapters that the professor posts on blackboard before the submission date, and share

with each other our answers and what we learned from them. Sometimes when some of us could not answer a question due difficulties,

we would help each other either sharing the information that we got, or also find the answer from the chapters.

Following the directions in the assignment is helpful.

Luckily I have never had to work as a group online. I HATE group work.

Participation and getting things done early is the best. However, My experience is that the group projects do not get participation by at

least 1/3 of the students and as with this class the project was not complete because 1 person did not turn in their part of the assignment

and someone said they could do it and they didn't turn it in. If you look at the notes I was the first to mention this to the instructor and it

took a few days for others to participate. Now this being the 3rd group project that has not been turned in and 100% fail rate in my online

classes for group projects. Yeah me! While I like the group projects it requires participation and that lacks.

As for the online part of the course, it wasn't like working in a group. It was more for yourself and relying on yourself to get the task done

that was assigned. For me, if I have a deadline for an assignment that is due then I get it done. But it taught time management and not rely

on others to do my work because when taking college courses, it's all up to you to get it done at the best you can do. I have ADD

Working in google docs, splitting it up into sections, making a plan first of what you want to do as a group so you are all on the same

Again, the online group aspect of coursework is impossible without active conversation. The responses were so insufficient that at times I

was forced to fully complete assignments myself and turn them in. When these group assignments specify in their instruction that all

members are to combine efforts and opinions into an assignment, it is extremely difficult to create their contributions in the final

submission. The instructor was certainly not at fault for this, it's just one aspect of online courses that is taxing. If everyone actively

discussed topics and issues outside the graded discussion requirements, it would be far more rewarding to take online courses.

Instructor guidance and academic resources are very important to me.

I firmly believe that online classes are valuable asset to the one's academic success. However,I think it depends also on the professor and
