2. Some obstacles:• Lack of culture for sharing resources• Heritage resources often mean business (income generating, not to share

them freely)• Heritage resources often mean private/ personal enjoyment

3. Strategies:• Joint-exhibitions audience positive responses help in making potential

donors more inclined to contribute content/resources• Build network with other heritage-based organization helps in

indentifying potential (content) donors

ConclusionsAn open access e-heritage repositories can:• Add appeal of formerly neglected resources• Provide learning resources for campus communities• Facilitate collaborations among different campus

units• Facilitate as an outreach platform• Expand libraries’ sphere of influence on campus and

in the society• Function as a ‘silent marketing’ tool for the university
