The strategy of sustainable development is to reconcile three poles of development

This objective supposes the respect of the natural resources of the ecosystems

which allow life on the planet and a long-term economic growth.

This development must be fair, taking into account the struggle against poverty,

Representing sustainable developmentwith a photograph

Concerning both the Comenius project and sustainable development, we would like to suggest to our foreign partners a think tank and an exchange of views about sustainable development. Each partner will collect various photographs, taken locally by students or staff. Each picture will represent its author's vision of sustainable development.

This project has different goals : on the one hand, allowing each partner, within each country, to think about represents sustainable development what really on the other hand, sharing, altogether, our experiences, and widening our knowledge not only about sustainable development but also opening it to other people.

Terms and conditions :Volunteering from each member of the school community Individual choice in photo shooting The photograph must be the personal vision of the authorA commentary has to be added (a single word, a group of words, or a phrase, in English)Moodle will be used to collect the photographs. Each photographer will specify his first name, family name, age, sex, group (teacher, student, staff). This project can be led alone, in a club, in class, in a teaching team... but the application is personal. It needs various people to participate : teachers (in English for instance.), photo club, computer specialists, and of course the people involved in theSustainable Development Club.

Our goal is to collect as many photographs as possible, to get a vision as wide as possible, and select some of them for an exhibition, during the sustainable development week. in April 2012. Each school will reward its country's best photographs.Selection criteria : originality, inventiveness, representativeness, that's to say not only technical skills !

Sustainable development and food

Concerning both the Comenius project and sustainable development, we would like to suggest to our foreign partners a think tank about a recipe, a dish, a menu (that would be to define), which would represent our geographical area as best as possible.

This project has different goals :

on the one hand, allowing each partner, within each country, to think about this representative recipeon the other hand, sharing altogether our cultures, our traditions : this would make us talk about our area, our local products, our economy (agriculture, fishing, industry....)

Terms and conditions :

Volunteering from each member of the school community Representation of each group's area in the best wayDescribing the required ingredients and where they come fromExplaining the history of the dish (or recipe or menu)English translationCollecting with Moodle.

This project has to be led by a teaching team. It needs various people to participate : catering pool, teachers (in English, in History and Geography, in Economics for the data process...), photo club, computer specialists, and of course the people involved in the Sustainable Development Club.

The aim is to understand our partners, way of life thanks to their food, and through their country's history, traditions and economy.

This project has to be written in English. Photos or videoclips, for instance, can be added. It will be in full swing during the Sustainable Development Week (april 2012), with an exhibition or another medium.
