The Teacher STaR Chart is a planning and self assessing tool for instructional leaders and teachers that is aligned with the Long-Range Plan for Technology, 2006-2020
What does it measure and why?It is designed to help teachers, campuses, and districts determine their progress toward meeting the goals for the Long Range Plan for Technology, as well as meeting the goals of their district.
Texas Teacher STaR Chart was developed around the four key areas of the Long-Range Plan for Technology, 2006-2020: Teaching and Learning; Educator Preparation and Development; Leadership, Administration and Instructional support; and Infrastructure for Technology.
All teachers are required to complete the Teacher STaR Chart. The district can determine the deadline for its submission based on the district intended needs: Campus STaR Chart, technology plan submission, E-Rate guidelines.
