A&A DBR: What inspired you to put outfits together

to resemble The Blue Four’s paintings? A&A: The Blue Four have beautiful

paintings and we wanted to bring them alive by showing them off in fashion.

DBR: Did it take a long time to choose the outfits? A&A: Yes it did! We looked through a lot of

different clothes to find the right ones that would resemble the painting as closely as possible. We chose outfits by color, design, style, and the emotion it would bring.

DBR: How do the outfits represent the paintings they resemble? A&A: The outfits represent the emotion and

meaning of the painting they are resembling. We chose outfits that had similar color schemes to those of the paintings. We also wanted the audience to feel like the painting if they wore our outfits or similar outfits. The Blue Four had great ideas and create amazing artworks. We just want those ideas to continue living and fashion is an industry that isn’t going to die out anytime soon.
