Mastheads.

A Masthead is the name and logo of the magazine.The masthead shows the consumer what the magazine is called, sometimes the colors can show what type of magazine it is, as colors can sometimes resemble, Rock magazines will use dull and boring colors like Kerrang, Vibe will use bright colors as the magazine is an RnB magazine. The masthead will also get the magazine well known because it is big and stands out.

Banner.

The Banner stands out because the background is white and the text color is black. This will catch the consumers eye, the text is

big and is also in block capitals.

The Lead.

The lead is an introductory paragraph that shows you what the article is about. This article is about Usher, its telling us about him and his life.

Cover Lines.

A cover line is side headings which involves little small stories. These take some of the hype off the main article.

Main Image.The main image is the front cover and shows what the magazine has inside. This magazine is about Usher, with a few short stories.
