Where can I find help?
There are many support resources for the online student available through the library’s website.
You are not alone.
We want to help you.
Contacting the StaffIf you have worked with particular librarian, you can contact him/her using the information found on the Library’s Staff list.
Select “About the Libraries” from the left side column. Near the bottom of the next page select Staff.
Staff name, phone number and e-mail addresses are easily found when the Staff page opens.
Contacting the Reference DeskNear the bottom of the Library’s homepage you will find the Reference Desk’s e-mail address and phone number. The Reference Desk is daily by the library staff.

Consulting with a LibrarianNear the bottom of the Library’s homepage you will also a link to Request a Research Consultation.
Select the link to open the the request form.
Consultation Request FormFill out the form. Make sure that the question tagged with the asterisks are filled out.
If you know a librarian, you can request to meet with them by selecting their name in reply to “Whom do you wish to meet with?”
In the box entitled “Are there other details that we need to know?” mention that you are a commuter or distance learner. We can arrange to consult via Adobe Connect, Skype or other means.
Research Help & Guides There are guides to help you start your research and there are guides to help you through the process of putting your work together.
Select the Research Help & Guides icon from the Library’s webpage to open this service’s site.
The Research Subject GuidesThe individual subject guides assist you by suggesting resources to use for your research.
The guides provide a look at relevant books, journals, databases and authoritative website that could lead to information vital to your research.
The Citation GuidesThe Citations Guides present information and assistance to help you put your research paper together in the style for your academic discipline.
The Writing Honestly helps you avoid the pitfalls of plagiarism and academic dishonesty.
The RefWorks GuideRefWorks is a citations manager provided by Eastern University Libraries. This service helps you organize your research and format your research in the style required by your academic discipline.
The RefWorks Guide is the one-stop-shop for all things related to RefWorks. It includes informational resources in a variety of formats including video tutorials
Research ToolsThe Research Tools page is accessible from the left column links on the Library’s website.
There are links here to services such as the A to Z Journal List, the Guides & Tutorials, RefWorks and information for those who have finished their graduate thesis or dissertations.
A to Z Journal List
This is the one-stop shopping site for all the library’s journal title.
If you want to know what issues of a journal are available to you then you need to search the Journal List.
Best to consult before requesting a Rapid ILL.

Our staff has prepared dozens of tutorials and videos to help you discover the information you need.
Contains a complete how-to series on using RefWorks and Citation Resources.
RefWorksCreate a RefWorks account to manage all your research and create bibliographies.
RefWorks interacts with library databases to help you keep track of all your research. Export references in any of hundreds of styles.
