The Story of

the Not so Happy Book

The little book lived happily on the teacher’s shelf. He was safe and in the right place.

One day the teacher needed him in the classroom.

He was happy!

He saw his new home and was very excited!

One of his neighbors taught him all about lions.

Another new friend told him a familiar tale.

The teacher put them in the red bin.

Uh oh! Something happened!

Uh oh! Now look!

And again!

This made him miserable!

This made him cry!

He began to miss his shelf!

Especially when he had to live upside down!

Sometimes nobody reads him because they couldn’t see him!

Some little hands went to work!

And look what happened!

And the little book was much happier!
