SouthpawThis film poster creates a sense of, hurt, fear, anger, this is just from the face of the actor, we get this feeling because of the lighting the photographer has set up and the angle they have took the photo, because the lighting is very dim and he looks dirty you can see that he is in trouble, with the blood coming from his eye/eyebrow you can tell that they is anger. From the way he islooking down you can see he is hurt from theface he is pulling and again the lighting. The background colours also suggest that he is down as black is a very dull colour. The text on the poster shows danger, pain, hurt againas the colour red symbolises all of this.

The fault in our starsThis film poster creates a sense of love. We can see that they is two people in love with each other because of the way the boy is looking at the ill young girl. We can see she’s ill as she has oxygen tubes, this creates a sense of upset as we can see from this girls face she isn’t very well. But from the lighting it shows us that they are both very happy, we can also see this from them both having a little smile on there face. They isn’t much background to this poster but the bits we can see is grass, we can see that they are laid down, this links to the title of the film as its called ‘The fault in our stars’ and people lay on the ground maybe sometimes with a love done and star gaze, this also suggests to us that they are in love. The colours of there costumes are just a casual everyday life clothes they are wearing what they feel confident in.

FrozenThis film poster creates a sense of happy, joy, fun. We can see this from the way the little snowman is happy with a big smile his arms in the air just having a good time sat on the reindeer's back, the reindeer is also been silly with snow on his face with a little grin and his eyes looking up at the snow man. You can just tell from looking at them two characters that it’s a funny film. From the two characters standing at the front the man on the left and the girl on the left these look like they are up to no good, they both have a little grin and stood with a bit of an attitude whereas the girl on the left at the back and the man on the right look like they are very important, they have very serious face but still have a little smile. The lighting on this poster is bright, this shows us that it is a very happy poster/ film. The back ground as you can see is full of snow and snowy mountings this tells us that the film is based in winter?

Soundtrack Clip 1 - from this clip I get the sense of fear, like something scary or serious is going to happen. Like the two people in the image are having a very serious conversation that no one can hear.

Clip 2- From this clip I get a sense of happiness, like something is going very well, maybe getting a promotion at work, or been told some good news.

Shining The trailer looks and sounds like a romantic comedy, the

sound track really helps towards this because of the different tunes it gives you a feel of happiness but also love, the tune says about someone's hart booming, this suggests that the two adults are in love. From the way the trailer jumps from different parts from the man drinking to the little boy on a bike to them been seen together this give you a sense of hope for them.

Clip Analysis Costume/Props.

- The costumes that the characters are wearing are not something you would see everyday, the black cape and helmet wouldn’t be seen down the streets, this gives you a feeling of him being back from the way he stands to his costume, he also has people that work for him and they carry weapons the outfits they were are all white and this is something you wouldn’t see. The other characters that are on the opposite team have what looks like ‘work clothes’ on with bright yellow pants and yellow/green tops but they have what looks like weapon pockets on there legs this is something you wouldn’t see, they also have metal shoulder pads on this could be used when fighting they aren’t just humans that are wearing these out fits, they are different creator’s.

Colour - the colours they use are dark colours, black, blues, dull greens and yellows. By using these

dull colours it aging gives you the feeling of been scared, maybe trapped, worried, and tells us just by the colours that something bad is going to happen.

Lighting - The lighting in this clip is very dull this shows that there is something bad happening as they

are fighting. It gives you more of a feel that not everything is going well, there are some parts where the lighting comes more brighter this is only when on some characters faces as it shows us there expression and how they look from this we can see how they are feeling.

Clip Analysis Camerawork - The camera work they use is very simple but it is very effective they use the pan, tilt,

zoom, crane the most by using these it gives you a feeling of fear, it shows you how they are moving about how fast how scared they are.

Dialogue - From the dialogue you can tell how the characters are feeling, from the way the

characters should, quiet, scared, you can tell from just the pitch of the voice what is going on and happening to them. Where are the more dominant characters sound very loud and scary. The background also connects to the characters pitch.

Editing - From the way that the editing is done jumping from one part to another it give you the

sense of fear, this is because its so dark and jumping from on character to another it also gives you a feel that something it gong on between the two characters.

Music - The background sounds are soft but put you on edge, it almost like a mystery tune. As the

characters are getting closer to the bad guy the music gets louder and more deeper and starts to give you a feel that something is wrong.
