It means: The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

When was it created?The UNESCO was created in 1946 and its general director is Irina Bokova.

R: UNESCO's mission is to contribute to peace and security by promoting collaboration between the nations through education, science and culture. Its main objective is to promote and support intellectual solidarity.
