Page 120 – Vocabulary: phrases with go
I like to dance.
I like to go dancing.
I like to dance.= I like to dance anywhere. Maybe I even like to dance in
my home.
I like to go dancing.= I like to go somewhere when I dance. I don’t want to
dance in my home. Maybe I like to dance in a club or maybe I like to dance in the park with ajummas.
Both of these sentences are OK.

2. Go out of town = to travel to another place, not in your city
3. Go out to eat = to go to a restaurant for a meal

Will can be used to express willingness/offer:
◦ I'll wash the dishes if you dry.◦ We're going to the movies. Will you join us?
It can also express intention (especially in the first person):
◦ I'll do my exercises later on.
and prediction:
◦ specific: The meeting will be over soon.◦ timeless: Humidity will ruin my hairdo.◦ habitual: The river will overflow its banks every spring.◦ Less certain plans: I’ll probably go stay home but I’m not sure.
“will” is not that common for expressing plans
Will is for predictions or possibilities◦ It looks like it will rain tonight.
Will is for immediate future/offers◦ Are you hot? I’ll turn on the air conditioner.
Going to is for plans◦ I’m going to meet some friend tonight.
Going to can also be used for predictions◦ I think it’s going to be a hard test.
Will vs. going to
