Avoid confusing the steps of a process with growth.

Ex: Step 1 and Step 6 in the same project did take place over time, but all of the steps resulted in ONE product in the end.

Show 2 end artifacts after the student did the test, assignment, or project at 2 different points in time.

Compare the artifacts noting IMPROVEMENTS in technique, performance, skill, etc.
Keep several samples just in case you realize that your first idea does not work with your objective after you begin your narrative.
