MeerjapurMirzapur district is in Uttar Pradesh in India. It is at a equidistant from Delhi and Kolkata, around 650 Kms, it is at a distance of 90 Kms, from Allahabad and 60 Kms, from Varanasi. While official spelling is Mirzapur but as per the hindi pronunciation, it should be spelled as ‘Meerjapur’.Before 1st April 1989, Mirzapur or Meerjapur was the Largest District of Uttar Pradesh and one of the largest districts of India but on this day it was divided into two parts and a new district ‘Sonebhadra’ came into existence.
If we talk about the nomenclature of mirzapur then as per the description given by the learned of mirzapur, after independence of India, is as, ‘Meer’ means ‘sea’, ‘Ja’ means ‘to emerge’ ‘Meerja’ means “one who emerges from the sea” who we call ‘Lakshmi’, the Goddess of Wealth & Prosperity and ‘Pur’ means ‘Nagar’ or ‘City’Thus the description of mirzapur is the City of Goddess Lakshmi i.e., “The City Abundance with Treasure and Prosperity”.
Mirzapur is known for the Carpet, Brassware Utensils, and Cement Industries. The first cotton mill of Uttar Pradesh, was also established in Mirzapur but now it is no more existed. At the time of independence Mirzapur was one of the biggest industrial districts of Uttar Pradesh. It has pre-historic, historic, religious, spiritual, geographical, industrial and commercial importance along with its natural beauty. Hardly any district in India may have all these importance.
Religious City
A devout triangle of Goddess Vindhyavasini, Goddess Ashtabhuja & Goddess Kali and the pious and Godly River Ganga make mirzapur a Religious city. Every year millions of pilgrims come to Mirzapur at Goddess Vindhyawasini temple at Vindhyachal in Mirzapur.Gurudev Nagar Ashram, 40 Kms from mirzapur City, at mirzapur Ghorawal
The Divine Beauty
God intended something to be very beautiful and He made the pious land of ‘Mirzapur’. He decorated it with the range of Vindhya Hills, Natural Water Falls & Fountains and made the pious river Ganga to meet with Vindhya Hills in this district only.mirzapur has a big number of Water Falls, Springs, Ponds and Rivulets. Rules & RegulationsDiscipline :-One of the most important aspects of education is discipline which should eventually come from within. Discipline is the training that develops self-control, orderliness, efficiency and character.
Basic to all discipline is the principle of respect - respect for oneself, for others and for all children. The school expects students to maintain the highest standard of discipline, decorum, punctuality, neatness and responsible behavior both in the classroom and during co-curricular activities of the school.
Matters of discipline are dealt with initially by the class teacher. When the situation demands, the Principal takes responsibility for disciplinary measures. At all times students are encouraged to consider and be responsible for their own actions.Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, insubordination, misbehavior, obscenity in any form and dishonesty are sufficient reasons for the expulsion of a student.Students should refrain from activities, which may disturb the orderly use of the school. In case of a serious breakdown of conduct, the Principal seeks to assess the situation with parents.
Any breach of school rules will entail punishment such as suspension or termination of admission. The Principal can, in the interest of the school and without assigning any reason, ask a parent to remove a child, at or previous to the end of the current term, should her/his conduct, behaviour or influence, in the Principal’s opinion, be detrimental to the principles of the school, or should she/he seem unable or unwilling to profit by the educational advantages of the school.
Absence from School:The school does not look too kindly upon uncalled for absences. Students absenting themselves for more than a month without sanction of leave are liable to have their names struck off the rolls. Students should not be kept away from school except for illness. Infectious diseases, if any, should invariably be notified immediately to the Principal. To ensure your child’s safety, a member of the staff may call you on the first day of absence for monitoring purposes. Absence from any examination will ordinarily be allowed on medical grounds, supported by a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
Returning To School after Illness:Children should be fit to participate in all schools activities including outdoor games and playtime. Injury, respiratory complaints or circulation difficulties are, of course, exceptions.

They do not meet their children or the teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal. They do avoid any kind of arguments with the Security Personnel. The safety and security of all our children is of prime importance to us. Security personnel have therefore been instructed not to allow anyone into the school premises without approval from the School Office. In the event of emergencies such as bands, riots, floods, etc., please use your own discretion and decide whether to send your child to school. Should the Emergency occur after school has begun, please ensure that you come personally to school and collect your child. The School cannot take the risk of sending your child with any other person. At times like these, it becomes humanly impossible for our office staff to answer telephone calls from so many parents.
Leave Of Absence:•Children should not be kept away from the School, except for illness.•When a student is absent, parents are required to intimate the Class Teacher through the School Diary.•No separate leave application need be made.•An Absence and Leave Record for the purpose is given in the Diary.•Any absence of more than two days should be supported by a medical certificate and an entry in the School Diary mentioning the number of days the child is absent is also required.•Infectious diseases, if any, should be notified immediately to the Principal.
