Contests such as the Business Model Competition help the school inspire and motivate the next generation of leaders.

Developed on the framework of the International Business Model Competition (IBMC), this event enables students to learn about starting their own firms. After coming up with a business idea, participants must 1) identify their assumptions about their ideas and the marketplace, 2) test these assumptions by getting feedback from people unaffiliated with the school, and 3) tell their story about how the data they gained in the second part affected their overall strategy. They then have to give a five- to eight-minute presentation, which is judged against competitors by a panel using IBMC criteria.
