INTRODUCTION

In this last semester from November 2013 until April

2014, we are given a project of double storey house. We

are decided to make a rough estimation about a unit of

double storey house and 100 unit of double storey house

construction. With this, we were choosing a plan of Semi-D

residential of Timbalan Pengarah at Kolej Matrikulasi

Banting, Selangor as our project.

DISCUSSION

The grand total of the material cost that we gained from the calculated taking off and the bill of quantities is RM 148,664.08. After including 11% from JKR References PulauPinang the actual material cost is RM RM 164,997.13.

The Gantt chart and S-curve shows the duration and construction cost of 100 unit of double storey house which is shows the time started the project until it finished.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, the knowledge that we gained from doing this project really expose us the important of knowing the real specific of work. Taking off and the bill of quantity together with the Gantt chart and s-curve also be considered in the taking off in order to get estimated value for the each project. Thus, the specific cost needed for a unit of house have been estimated.
