Cloud computing is offline computing in which

large groups of remote servers are networked to

allow the centralized data storage, and online

access to computer services or resources.

Clouds can be classified as :

1. public

2. private

3. hybrid

HYBRID CLOUD

A hybrid cloud is a cloud computing environment in

which an organization provides and manages some

resources in-house and has others provided

externally.

For example, an organization might use a public

cloud service, such as :

Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3) for

archived data but continue to maintain in-house

storage for operational customer data.

private cloud and at least one public cloud. The

private cloud can be an on-premises private cloud

or a virtual private cloud located outside the

enterprise data center.

main disadvantage of the public cloud is that your

data is out there beyond your firewall.

that you maintain a greater portion of your IT
