6 Efficient Town Hall 8 Farming Strategies - Goplay.com
Town Hall 8 is available to unlock a whole new group of units
and spells: P.E.K.K.A, Valkyrie, Golem, Poison Spell, Jump Spell,
and Earthquake Spell. Your regular troops can also be upgraded
to level 5 which significantly improve their strength.
So many troops and spells mean you have a lot more army compositions
to chose from. For farming alone at Town Hall 8, you can have as much
as 6 different army compositions to use, depending on what kind of
resources you want to raid.
This article will introduce all 6 farming troop compositions at Town Hall
8.
First Town Hall 8 Farming Troop Compositions: BARCH
We are very familiar with this troop formation so I'm gonna be brief
about this. At Town Hall 8 I recommended you to have 80 Barbarians,
112 Archers, 4 Wall Breakers, 2 Lightning Spells and 1 Poison Spell in
the pocket for an farming raid.
Lightning Spells are great at taking out Mortars and Wizard Towers.
Poison Spell is also needed in case there's Clan Castle troops.
Second Town Hall 8 Farming Troop Compositions: BAM
Minions are actually unlocked at Town Hall 7 but BAM isn't as efficient a
farming strategy as BARCH at Town Hall level 7. For one thing Minions
cost Dark Elixir; for another thing Town Hall 7 players are still getting
familiar with BARCH so BAM is a bit harder to play.
BAM gets popular at Town Hall 8 because players need stronger army to
farm Dark Elixir. BARCH is not up to this duty. The standard
composition would be 66 Barbarians, 86 Archers, 20 Minions, and 4
Wall Breakers with 2 Lightning Spells and1 Poison Spell prepared.
Third Town Hall 8 Farming Troop Compositions: GiBARCH
This army formation combines the tanking power of level 5 Giants and
the swiftness of BARCH, great to farm bases with strong defenses.
You can have 12 Giants, 12 Barbarians, 120 Archers and 4 Wall Breakers,
with the support of 1 Healing Spell, 1 Rage Spell and 1 Poison Spell. You
may have noticed that Barbarians are needed only a few. Because the
great tank here is Giants, Barbarians are reduced to supportive troops in
this strategy.
The Healing Spell are for Wall Breakers and Rage Spell for Giants.
Forth Town Hall 8 Farming Troop Compositions: GiBAM
Of course then comes the Giant and BAM combo. It's basically a stronger
version of BAM. You can have 12 Giants, 12 Barbarians, 88 Archers, 16
Minions, 4 Wall Breakers, with the support of 1 Healing Spell, 1 Rage
Spell, 1 Poison Spell.
Fifth Town Hall 8 Farming Troop Compositions: WAG
This strategy uses Wizards, Archers and Giants. It involves 2 expensive
and time-costing units: the Wizards and Giants. So use it when you have
a big goal and your target is enclosed Storages and especially Dark Elixir
Storage.
Troop composition goes with 12 Wizards, 16 Giants, 58 Archers, 7 Wall
Breakers, with 2 Rage Spells, 1 Healing Spell and 1 Poison Spell.
Sixth Town Hall 8 Farming Troop Compositions: GiWAM
GiWAM is like the ultimate farming army of Town Hall 8. It's expensive
because of the Wizards, Giants and 7 Wall Breakers; and it costs Dark
Elixir too.
Troop composition is 12 Wizards, 16 Giants, 7 Wall Breakers, 20
Minions, 18 Archers, with 2 Rage Spells, 1 Healing Spell, and 1 Poison
Spell.
Like WAG, GiWAM strategy uses 7 Wall Breakers. So this is aiming at the
centralized Dark Elixir Storage.
In conclusion, if you are faming Elixir or Gold and try to raid collectors,
use BARCH or BAM. If you are looking for a bit Dark Elixir as well, and try
to raid collectors and drills relatively outside the base, use
GiBARCH or GiBAM.
If you are maingly farming Dark Elixir, you have to invest more. Using
WAG and GiWAM can get you to
the core where the DE Storage is.
Note that the number of each units are not settled. You may adapt
according to your favour and what kind of base you attack.
