Debonair Brazilian Model Romulo Pires Touches on Inspiration, Giving Back, and Super-Cool

Hailing from tropical Brazil, Romulo Pires, who is also of Italian descent, is one of the most recognized faces in the world of modeling.

He has been on the cover of magazines such as Galera, and involved in editorial shoots for Citizen K Homme Sport, Client Magazine, Details Magazine, Elle Men Mexico and many others. He was also the face for the CK One fragrance campaign, as well as Christian Lacroix’s Absynthe.

Between shoots and keeping his body tightly toned, Romulo Pires frequently returns home to visit his mother and siblings. His mother Cleopatra, is a very religious person, and is a tremendous source of inspiration for Romulo.

His human family isn’t the only thing waiting for Romulo Pires when he returns to his homeland. He also owns two Jack Russell Terriers - Gaso and Micah, and two pugs - Fiji and Akiba whom he adores. In addition to being an avid pet lover, Romulo is also a passionate humanitarian. He actively donates to the New York non-profit agency, New York Cares. Giving back means a lot to Romulo, as he knows what it’s like to start from nearly nothing and have big dreams to fulfill.

“I have always wanted to give back to the community. Ultimately, it is the public that has so readily accepted me and blessed me with my continuing career. New York Cares is a well-organized volunteer organization and I’m happy to donate to its causes.”

And what about post modeling? Even though his career is in full gear, Romulo has given some thought to acting, which should be of interest to his many female fans worldwide. “If I could work with Martin Scorsese that would be a dream come true. I love all of the old mafia and mob movies. All of the action and cool mobsters. But if I went into acting, I would want to learn to act in every genre, not just action.” Because that’s how Romulo is, he puts 100% into everything he does.
