WHAT Thirst 4 Destruction is a three hour motorcycle extravaganza Featuring some of the worlds best freestyle motocross riders WHEN March-May, throughout a ten week period WHERE The event will be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre WHY Multiple attempts to break world records within the world of extreme motocross riding. Provide its audience with a sense of adrenaline HOW The Arena will be transformed into a breathe-taking, multi ramp, motocross complex, complete with flips and the ultimate in dare devil tricks.

These include, and are not limited to: Liability Insurance Occupational Health, Safety & Welfare Act 2012 Smoking (Not allowed inside closed areas, unless approved by the venue) South Australia Liquor Licensing, including RSA laws when providing alcoholic beverages to patrons within the venue Explosive Regulation 2001

Conditions of entry to the event: Abusive behaviour, including both verbal and physical will result in being dismissed from the venue Patrons wearing outlawed gang related paraphernalia will be asked to remove their offending piece of clothing (where possible). If patrons are uncooperative they will be further reviewed by security and asked to leave the premises if necessary Patrons with tickets that are deemed to be fake or cancelled will not be granted entry Possession of stolen/cancelled or duplicated tickets

The risk register illustrates the risks involved within the Crusty Demons show, with the likelihood of the risk happening rated from 1 to 5 with 5 being the most likely and 1 the least, the impact or consequence of the risk rated again from 1 to 5 with 5 being the most detrimental to the event and 1 the least. The overall risk level rated as A, extremely risky, B, somewhat risky, C not particularly risky, and D little to no risk involved.

The following must be taken into consideration to ensure a high level of safety at the Crusty Demons Event: Police, Fire & Emergency Services on standby at event Crowd control & general security Transport safety (as this is a licenced venue, public transport is important) Adequate parking available for guests
  9. 9. Television advertisements Within various motorcycle brand distributers Magazine placements i.e. within sports and popular Australian male based magazines
  10. 10. It is vital for the event organisers to ensure that they are reaching their target audience effectively & directly. The safety of guests and those participating in the event are of the upmost importance when hosting a thrill seeker event. The risk register should be considered as a useful tool for event organisers when assessing the level of risk within a dangerous sporting event.
