The ceremony start with welcome Speech and the purpose of the ceremony 2012 by Ms. Saowalak Thongkuay. In this regard, Ms. Saowalak announce the successful achievement activities of DPIAP, that have done past year and the progress of DPIAP’s activities that on the proceeding and implementation.

Beyond that, she present and sharing on the direction, future plan, vision and goals of DPIAP including mention on the social enterprise that will cooperate with DPIAP’s supporters and stake holders.

Then Mr. Kraisak Choonhawan, Chief advisor to The Governor of Bangkok present his Opening ceremony speech and give benison to all participants.

After the opening speech from Mr. Kraisak, the ceremony start to let enjoy the activities in the ceremony, chatting and start make networking .

DPIAP have a Open house and new year ceremony on Saturday 28 Jan, 2012 at DPIAP’s office. The ceremony aimed to strengthen collaboration and to acknowledge DPIAP stake holder and great supports and the ceremony have leisure activities, music live show, games, booth exhibition, persons with disabilities product booth, food, beverage and conversation stage on key to management.

11.30 the conversation stage start, we have four honorable speaker come to sharing their value experience.

1. Mrs. Jamnan Siritan (President of radio television broadcasting professional federation) - To empower and strengthen capacity of staffs go together with ensuring the quality of life of staffs (health, salary, safety and future).

2. Mr. Mike Plaxton (CEO of Krungthai AXA Life)- Krungthai AXA intend to employ persons with disabilities from the capability of PWDs and the position for them are the existing position not the special position or new position.

3. Mr. Christophe lejeune (Director of Human resources, Accor Thailand, Cambodia, Laos)- key to management is people. To let staffs happy to work and listen when them has the problem, the solution did not come from his advice but the solution to solve the problem come from themselves.

4. Mrs. Chalida Tajaroensuk (Director of People’s Empowerment)- Persons with Disabilities must be confidence themselves, to speak and present. To push forward the movement of PWDs issues, we need the cooperation.

Conversation Stage On

Key to Management

The ceremony was finished at 13.00 in the afternoon, from the start to finish and all the ceremony activities, the attendees enjoyed the activities and observing the movement of PWDs. Furthermore, the participants can make the networking and sharing the experience on PWDs activities that go to be the cooperation in the future.

At the same time, this ceremony is the good opportunity for PWDs, disabled people organization, business sector and people in society learning the disabilities and understand what is disabilities in the perspective of social model concept. We can working together on the same goals, and our goals is full participation and equal opportunity of Persons with Disabilities in society.

Beyond the goal, the PWDs and Disabled People Organization must to have the stability and sustainable on management with the capability of staffs.
