What did you find difficult about producing your

school magazine?

• The hardest thing I have found about producing my magazine is trying to use programmes such as Adobe Photoshop. I need to get a further understanding on how to use the programme so that my editing skills will be more developed for my music magazine.

What did you find easy?

• I found the process of the photo shoot easy as I had a clear understanding on how I wanted the model to look. I also found the planning easy, as the mood boards gave me an idea on what I need to include.

How would your task have been easier if you had researched into school

magazines?

• I did a lot of research into what a school magazine includes this really benefited me as I was able to understand all of the codes and conventions which people expect to see in that type of magazine

What did you do to attract your audience

• I made sure that everything I included was based on education and school. I made sure I used the correct colours that matched the school to make it clear to my target audience that it all linked together

What have I learnt from the software I have used?

• Before I started the preliminary I had never used any software such as photoshops. Since September I have managed to understand the concept of the software and have learnt certain techniques, which will benefit me when producing my music magazine

What have I learnt to help me excel in the main task

• I have learnt about all the different codes and conventions which are included in different types of magazines. I have also learnt how to structure a magazine so that it incorporates with my target audience. It has helped me improve my knowledge so that I can make my music magazine the best I can
