Question 1-If you saw a trailer like ours, would you want to see the film.

We wanted to ask this question as once they have read the storyline and imagined what it would be like, we wanted to find out if they would want to see the film to see if they like the storyline. As 4 people said yes and 1 Person said they didn't’t want to see it, it gave us the chance to get criticism and positive points to get us a variety of points.

Question 2- What do you like most about our storyline

Once we asked whether you like it, we wanted to see what they liked most so we understand what is appealing our audience. Most of the answers said it was tense, intriguing, mystery which is all stereotypical for a psychological thriller. They also said the plot twist which we wanted to show off the most as this is the most stereotypical.

Question 5- What age range applies to you

We wanted to find what age range answered our questions to see if they were in our target audience. They were most in the age range of 16-18 and one 26+. As they are all in our age range it helped us to see what they thought between the age gap to see if they liked the same things to help us with what to put in our trailer.

Question6- Do you think our idea of our trailer fits in with the chosen genre of a psychological thriller and why?

As our genre is psychological thriller we wanted to make sure people thought it would fit in that genre and not to think is was a different genre such horror. They all said yes which meant the audience knew what genre is was and believed it fitted it as it is stereotypical. We wanted it to be stereotypical with a murder and a mental state but we wanted to involve the murder more and combine them both to appeal to the audience as it is a big plot twist.

Question 7- What would you say is the best part of our ideas that are stereotypical to a psychological thriller

As we want it to be stereotypical of a psychological thriller to fit the genre and make it appealing to the audience we wanted to know our best part. We got a good variety which helped us as it showed us that they all thought different things was good. Some of the answers were about the mental state of the main character as not many films are about schizophrenia as we wanted to make it different as the audience would find it interesting. They also said the plot twist as it is unexpected which would appeal to the audience as they don’t know who killed the little girl. By the trailer it would be tense to see who killed her which would make the audience want to see the film.
