Cafe

We decided for the artist to have the same costume as the one we filmed for the first verse. This is because we wanted to create a visual in which you can see the artist on their daily journey from one location to another. Because we did this we needed to make sure that the continuity of hair, make up and costumes was the same.

Props

We made sure we remembered to bring in the right props as the diary was essential for this scene.

Base Tracks

We shot a lot of base tracks in different shots and angles while she was winging the second verse. For example, we used a lot of close ups, extreme close ups, mid shots, pans, mid shots, wide shots etc. We plan to cut between the clips so it can flow and have more movement.

Problems…

Some of the problems faced on the day was that it was quite windy at some points so hair flying around would get in the way. At one point, one of our props (the diary) flew of the table. We over came this by doing it over again.

Additional Shots

After filming what we needed for the café scene, we decided to create a few more on the riverside just in case we needed something different for the video.

Eli also had a go at filming some of the shots of the scenery that we may use. This is so everyone could have a go at doing something. Also Eli wouldn’t have many chances at filming as she is starring in it.

We finished filming our base tracks for the café scene and now all we have left to film is the scenes in Richmond park for the chorus and bridge.
