the Hip Hop and R&B genre. This is priced at £2.20• Uncut is an indie magazine and is priced £3.00

Frequency Of Publication

• The Q magazine is published once a month where as other magazines such as NME are published weekly. Uncut another type of magazine is published monthly like Q.

Regular Content• Q magazines normally contain reviews of the latest music about, it also

includes film, live concert, radio and television reviews. Q magazines rates there content between 1-5.

• This compares to magazines such as NME which contains content such as new music video reviews, live photos from concerts and the music charts from each type of genre.

Feature Articles

• Q magazines usual content in their feature articles • In uncut feature articles include Q and A with the

best artists about in the world at the moment. It also includes exclusive sessions of new tracks by the best artists about.

Q magazine

• This is one of the most purchased magazines in the UK. The magazine uses a 1-5 star rating to rate there reviews, music guests and music videos. The cost of this magazine is £2.50 and can only be purchased one a month. It includes feature articles such as “10 things you didn’t know about the killers”.

NME magazine

• NME is also another popular indie magazine on the current market place. NME reviews new music as well as live concerts and music videos. In some cases NME reviews TV programmes and films. NME is one of the cheapest magazines on the market at around the price of £2.20.

Uncut Magazine

• Uncut magazine is one of the most popular magazines on the current market place and includes music from the past as well as a variety of the latest music. Also Uncut reviews the latest DVD’s that are released as well as music reviews. Uncut isn’t as cheap as the other contending magazines on the market, it prices at £3.00 per issue.
