magazines?

The most popular

was twice a month.

Because of this, I think

that I am going to make

my magazine be released

every 2 weeks.

What are the most important

articles in a music magazine?

7 people answered my

survery saying that

celebrity/artist updates are

the most important articles. I

will make this the main focus

of my magazine.

What genre of

music do you

enjoy listening

to the most?

My survey says that the majority

of the people that completed my

survey enjoy listening to

rock/metal the most. Also, the

second most popular is blues. As

this is very closely linked to rock

music, I will include some blues

articles also.

How do you listen to music?

The most popular answer was

computer. Now that most people

have smartphones and iPods, they

have easy access to applications such

as iTunes of Spotify. I will either

include a code for a new upcoming

song, to buy on iTunes or an

advertisement for a new song on

Spotify.

How much would you be

prepared to spend on a music

magazine?

I think the results for this

question are very reasonable.

£3.00 is the highest price I was

willing to put my magazine up for

sale for and it’s most popular with

the people that took my survey.

How important is the main

photo on the cover of a

magazine?Because most of my

respondents answered very

important and none of them

said it wasn’t important at all, I

am going to take extra care

when I take my photos for my

magazine cover, to ensure they

display the right message and

look appealing.

How old are you?

The most poplar age range was 16-20.

Although this was the most popular, I

will keep my age range for my audience

a bit wider and the genre has many sub-

genres that people of all ages listen to.

How often do you attend live

musical performances?

As quite often tied

with not at all often, I

will include concert

information in my

magazine. Some

people may be reliant

on the information

given in magazines

and I think it is very

helpful.

Are you male or female?

Although

female was the

most popular

answer, in my

research I know

that this genre

of magazine is

for both genders

equally. I will

not make it

specifically for

females and

decrease my

target audience.
