Question 1 – What type of music do you listen to?

Rock emerged as the highest answer rate, with 81% of the participants preferring rock to the other music genres in the survey.

Question 2 – What person in public life do you most admire and why?

• This question was to gain an idea of which people the participants modelled themselves after.

Question 3 – Do you go to gigs or festivals? If so, which ones in particular?

• Although this question was to find answers rather than provide them, a lot of the same answers kept occurring, UEA for gigs was the most popular answer, with 70%.

Question 4 – Which games consoles do you use?

• As I expected, there would most likely be more than one top answer. Xbox360 and PS3, 43.8% both tied as the top answer.

Question 5 – Where do you shop for clothes?

• Topman/Topshop was the top answer with 62.5%. It was interesting to receive some “other” responses also, with a variety of answers.

Question 6 - Do you watch music videos online?

• The majority of participants said yes, with a 75% total response.

Question 7 – Which music magazines do you read?

• This response was my main influence to my conclusion for my music magazine, since the majority of answers read Kerrang!, the main band and rock magazine, with 66.7% top response.

Question 8 – Who is your favourite band/artist and why?

• The responses from this question are all bands and not solo artists, therefore also influenced my final decision, to make a rock band magazine.
