It is said that wisdom can be found in the most unlikely places. Yet I guess I could never find it in our comfort room. In the office, our CR smelled like shit or something that’s worse than shit. Well, perhaps the other people who used it didn’t care to flush it anymore. After all, it wouldn’t matter, maybe they thought. Even if they did flush, they saw our CR would still suck. Yet we all used it in our everyday. If only I could do something about it other than flushing the bowl myself. It is also said that the CR could tell a story. Back at home, I wondered what story our CR would tell. Days ago, I decided to put a little, and just a little, improvement of it. I hired a carpenter to put some concrete of it with high hopes that this time it could bring a nicer story (at least, compared before.) While I was helping the carpenter made the repairs, my mom found a small piece of paper. She called me to read it. The jagged edge and its yellowish color showed the eons it had survived. The kind that one would expect in an ancient scroll. Printed in Old English text style were the big words “The Golden Rules Of Living”. When I read them, I found the words so simple yet profound. Here are the complete texts: =========================================== The Golden Rules Of Living 1. If you open it, close it. 2. If you turn it on, turn it off. 3. If you unlock it, lock it up. 4. If you break it, admit it. 5. If you can’t fix it, call someone who can. 6. If you borrow it, return it. 7. If you value it, take care of it. 8. If you make a mess, clean it up. 9. If you move it, put it back. 10. If it belongs to someone else and you want to use it, get permission. 11. If you don’t know how to operate it, leave it alone. 12.

Printed in Old English text style were the big words “The Golden Rules Of

Living”. When I read them, I found the words so simple yet profound. Here are the complete texts: =========================================== The Golden Rules Of Living 1.
