Top 10 TV Dramas

1. Daredevil (Netflix): Blind lawyer Matt Murdock uses his superhuman senses to fight crime in Hell’s Kitchen. This is one of my favourite TV dramas because of the great acting and writing. I also like it because it is a great interpretation of the character Daredevil who is one of my favourite Marvel Superheroes. It’s also the most mature and violent TV series Marvel has created.

2. Jessica Jones (Netflix): A former superhero with a traumatic past tries to reboot her life by becoming a private investigator. This is another Marvel TV series. I like it because of the great performances and the interesting storyline.

3. Doctor Who (BBC One): A Time Lord known as The Doctor travels through time and space going on weird and wonderful adventures. It has been running for over 50 years making it one of the longest running TV shows of all time. I like this show because of the writing and great acting performances.

4. Sherlock (BBC One): A modern update on the adventure of famous detective Sherlock Holmes. I like this show because of the great writing and performances from Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.

5. The Flash (Sky 1): Scientist Barry Allen wakes up 9 months after being struck by lightning, only to discover that the lightning bolt gave him super speed. I like this show because of the likeable cast and the great special effects

6. The Walking Dead (Fox UK): Sheriff Rick Grimes leads a group of survivors in the zombie apocalypse. I like this show because of the interesting characters and intense drama.

7. Breaking Bad (AMC): A high school chemistry teacher is diagnosed with lung cancer and turns to manufacturing methamphetamine in order to secure his family’s financial future. I like this show because of the gritty drama and great writing.

8. Gotham (Channel 5): This series follows the life of a young Jim Gordon at the start of his career as he attempts to tackle crime in Gotham City. I like this show because of the wide variety of different characters.

9. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D (Channel 4): This Marvel TV series follows the missions of a group of Shield agents lead by Phil Coulson. I like this show because of the great writing and directing.

10. Game of Thrones (Sky Atlantic): While a civil war brews between several noble families in Westeros, the children of the former rulers of the land attempt to rise up to power. Meanwhile a forgotten race, bent on destruction, plans to return after thousands of years in the North.
