When working with people who hoard starts to take a toll I remember once being in a supermarket and feeling the desire to sort and straighten up things on the shelf. I think I wanted to feel like I could create some order. Like I had some sense of power to affect change. Awhile later I found these images and they reminded me of that feeling. They are from a book called ‘Kunst Aufraumen by Ursus Wehrli.

DESCRIPTION

Working with people who hoard isn't easy. As well as the hoarding behaviors, there is the added challenge of working in cluttered disorganised spaces. I remember once being in a supermarket and feeling the desire to sort and straighten up things on the shelf. I think I wanted to feel like I could create some order. Like I had some sense of power to affect change. Awhile later I found these images and they reminded me of that feeling. They are from a book called ‘Kunst Aufraumen by Ursus Wehrli.
