Who would want the world without flowers, chocolates, coffee and many more

foods? Definitely not

me.

More than 2,50,000 species of flowering plants depend on Bees for pollination.

Bees increase the yield of so many crops, vegetables and fruits.

Many of our conventional medicines and alternate remedies come from

flowering plants.  If bees population continue to decline at the rate which is

happening now, not just human race would suffer, few birds and small

mammals feed on berries and seeds that rely on bee pollination would die of

hunger and inturn their predators would starve and thus the food chain would

continue to starve.

We could depend only on wind pollination but then there would be huge scarce

for food and there would be wars for food supplies. Though other insects like

butterflies, bats pollinate none is designed like a Bee as a pollinator machine.

Honey Bee follow Floral Fidility. Bees do not  waste time by jumping from  one

flower to another, it gathers nectar and transfer the pollen grains on to the

reproductive part of the flower. That is why it is very effective as a pollinator.

industry etc. It has more than 300 applications.
