WINTER/SPRING 2017

Come See Why Over 2 Million Families Choose Kindermusik!

In Kindermusik classes, the instructor leads a group of parents and their children through joyful activities, using music and movement. Parents learn more about their child’s unique developmental process, and the shared learning experience creates a bond as the child associates learning with fun, musical play. Sign language is incorporated into each of the classes. Material fees are paid to the instructor at the first class. This fee is in addition to the program fee. Registration deadline is two days prior to the start of each session.

Kindermusik Imagine That! (3 1/2 - 5 yrs. old ) The class is designed for children to attend without an adult for about 35 minutes and then parents/caregivers and siblings join the class for the last 10-15 minutes for sharing time. Within the weekly lessons and at home, your preschooler’s unique affinity to learn through pretend play is the foundation to this musical curriculum. The first class the parents attend the full class without siblings and there will be no sharing time. Cities! Busy Places ~ Friendly Faces — In this unit, sidewalks, elevators, skyscrapers, and world-traveling photographers are the theme. Learning through the pretend play that preschoolers adore, we’ll be rhythmically busy playing storytelling games and handcrafting city “buildings” from wax paper at home so we can make a cityscape in class! Plus every activity has some at-home adaptations so the parent can take part in the learning. With a pair of resonator bars as a featured instrument, and a multicultural, jazzy collection of music, preschoolers will develop the social and intellectual skills they’ll need in school.Home Materials: Two literature books, game board set (pretend play manipulative component), two Home CDs, a Family Activity Book, a pair of resonator bars, backpack

Kindermusik Family Time! (6 mon - 6 yrs. old ) This class becomes a multi-layered learning environment with the older children ready to show the little ones how it’s done and the younger ones eager to learn. Your children will listen to instruments and to each other, learn from their peers and older children. All the activities encourage discovery and exploration and foster sharing and social skills too. In this special place for musical, social and emotional learning, your children will strengthen their ties with each other and with you, and they’ll start developing the skills they’ll need in school and on the neighborhood playground.Code: Days: Times: Dates: 1003 Mondays 6:00 - 6:45pm Feb. 6 - May 15 (No class 2/20, 3/6 & 3/27) Tuition: First Child: $125 Second Child: $85 Third Child: $65 Materials fee: payable to instructor on the first day of class or sooner
