1.  建⽴立社區與市政府聯⼿手有建設性的[規劃]合作    2.  在市政府通過之新华埠重建規劃,或华埠全⾯面主計劃[master  plan]前,終⽌止修改任何现有唐⼈人街規劃,政策  [CA,  ⽂文化中⼼心,华埠公益联盟⼀一致]    3.  ⽀支持整合和⾧長遠規劃,包括新的區域規劃。根據規劃指引,能涵蓋各⽅方持份者期望和遠景,綠線LRT策略,華埠在市中⼼心規劃之⾓角⾊色,唐⼈人街零售發展和其他唐⼈人街有關的事项或建議

What are our recommendations? �

•  Suspend  considera#on  of  specific  changes  or  excep>ons  to  the  current  Chinatown  ARP  un>l  a  revised  ARP  been  developed  with  the  community  and  approved  by  City  Council.    

•  Establish  a  construc#ve  rela#onship  between  the  Chinatown  community  and  City  of  Calgary  in  the  form  of  a  Planning  Task  Force.    

•  Support  integrated  long-­‐term  planning,  including  developing  a  new  ARP  that  encompasses  Guiding  Principles  that  adequately  capture  the  desires  and  vision  of  its  stakeholders,  the  Green  Line  LRT  strategy,  Chinatown’s  place  in  Centre  City  planning,  the  Chinatown  Retail  Strategy,  and  other  Chinatown  related  plans  and  ini>a>ves.
