Generic Cabergoline Tablets are used to reduce high levels of a hormone known as prolactin. Abnormally high prolactin can cause menstrual changes in women, impotence in men and breast changes in both sexes.Generic Cabergoline (Cabgolin Tablets) can also be prescribed to stop milk production in women after birth, if breast-feeding is to be prevented for medical reasons. Cabgolin tablets suppress physiological lactation by inhibiting prolactin secretion.
