We still managed to complete the whole cycle
• the idea of a self-fixing synthetic prosthesis with a stent inside as a fixing element) to making the stent itself and the endoprosthesis,
• - testing the material toxicity and performance capabilities of finished samples on models and animals to prove that they were safe to use,
• - designing and manufacturing systems to deliver and put stents and endoprostheses in the predetermined segment of the vessel bed,
• - the first procedure of a remote prosthetic repair, the first one in the world in clinic,
• - designing main types of endoprostheses and procedures including a combined (hybrid) prosthetic repair for various segments of the aorta and big vessels: aorta arch, descending aorta, abdominal aorta and iliac arteries.
I would like to say
• We are happy that our fate let us be among the first who were at the very beginning of the method that was totally revolutionary in treatment and changed the scheme of treatment of a lot of diseases and made it possible to save doomed patients.
